Omni Pro Electronics has introduced the EB4862 Series of Easy-Wiring “Screwless” Terminal Blocks by EBY Electro. These push-button terminal blocks feature a finger-friendly lever that requires minimal force for operation. They come in a modular design with 30 positions and can be colour coded to prevent wiring errors. The blocks allow for easy customization of colour coding to match wire colours. The EB4862 series incorporate a Push-To-Connect system that enables easy insertion of solid wires without depressing the lever or stranded wires using the lever. The terminal blocks have a 37° angled wire entry and a clear view of wire entry and lever on the same 45° plane. They have a wide electrical and mechanical range and are designed for durability with UL 94V-0 Polyamide PA66 Insulator Body Material and brass contact block material with tin plating. The terminal blocks have an operating temperature range of -40°C to 119°C and are suitable for applications such as irrigation controls, Wi-Fi controllers, thermostats, pool/spa controls, keypads, sensors, detectors, and alarms. The terminal blocks have a voltage rating of 300 VAC and a current rating of 8 Amps and it can accept wire sizes from 14 to 22 AWG.
