The flash memory card, designed for professionals, redefines speed with reading capabilities up to 280 MB/s, resilience, and capacity.

Lexar, a global brand in flash memory solutions, has launched the Lexar professional 1800x Secure Digital High Capacity/Secure Digital Extended Capacity (SDHC/SDXC) Ultra High Speed – Class II (UHS-II) card GOLD series in the Indian market. The company claims the cards are designed for photographers, videographers, and digital content experts. The card establishes a new standard in speed and resilience, offering a read speed of up to 280 MB/s. The top-tier card holds the highest UHS Speed Class of 3 (U3) and a V60 rating, ensuring a consistent speed of at least 60 MB/s. This makes it suitable for capturing 4K quality visuals, providing every detail is pristine. Sequential burst photos become faster, more seamless, and more straightforward due to its impressive write speed of 210 MB/s.

One of the standout features of the professional card series is its ability to reduce internal buffering during file transfers. With its advanced technology, users can experience a transfer speed of 280 MB/s, ensuring quick movement of raw images and videos for post-production. This efficiency grants creators more time to focus on their craft and hone their abilities. The press release says that while flash memory can be susceptible to damage from heat and water, the SDHC/SDXC card boasts a robust design. It’s waterproof and built to withstand extreme temperatures – from the icy peaks of mountains to the fiery brim of a volcano. Plus, its X-ray resistance means travellers can go through security checkpoints stress-free, confident in the card’s durability.
