Overview
In this role the Lead Engineer (Electronic Systems, Advanced Structures) actively participate in NPI, redesign and sustenance activities of electronic components.
Position: Lead Engineer
Primary Responsibilities
Good knowledge of electronic product design and development process, from requirement to delivery
- Independent Handling and Design of various Analog and Mixed Signal blocks of PLLs, LVDS, I/Os, and Other Analog Blocks like Switched Capacitor Circuits, Comparators, Oscillators, Voltage and Current Reference circuits etc.
- Hands on experience in DC/DC SMPS and Linear power supply design preferably flyback, buck converter, linear regulator, and series pass regulator design
- Analog Design Experience in Op-Amp, ADC, DAC, Signal conditioning, Active-passive filter design
- Hands on experience in Digital Electronics Design in Memory Interface’s etc..
- Motor controller development using high performance microcontrollers/FPGA is preferred
- Strong fundamentals in Semiconductor switches MOSFET, IGBT, BJT, Gate Drivers, diodes, capacitor, and inductor, Sensor’s, Amplifiers
- Experience in PCB layout and components
- Experience in serial protocol such as CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, MIL-STD-1553B etc.
- Hands on experience with Power estimations, thermal management solutions and their implications on EMI/EMC
- Strong understanding of Sensing and protection circuits and schemes (Over voltage, over current, Over temperature etc.)
- Understanding Grounding schemes related to (Functional, safety isolations, Low level signal vs high power), EMI/EMC, Lightning.
- Hands on experience with Mentor graphics Schematics & Layout tools, LT spice & Excel analysis
- Experience in mathematical analysis such as power supply for stability, Derating Analysis, Worst Case Analysis, DFMEA
- Good at handling bench top test equipment such as DMM, oscilloscope, data logger, Logic AnalyzerExcellent Hardware Debugging/troubleshooting skills
- Good understanding of conducted/Radiated Emissions, susceptibilities and DO160G
- Hands on with document writing, Presentation, Project task efforts estimation, guiding team members.
- Basic understanding of Sensors (Position, temperature, etc.), Solenoids, BLDC/PMSM motors, RL/Electronic loads & Dynamometers is preferred
