FRIWO is expanding its electromobility portfolio with the introduction of the MC1.5-55A-48V motor control unit. This product is tailored to meet the growing demands of the Asian markets, specifically targeting India, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the broader Southeast Asian region where the company is actively establishing its presence. The key specifications include:

Designed for 2- and 3-wheel electric vehicles, the continuous power output ensuring robust performance under challenging conditions. Its IP65 protection rating guarantees durability and reliable operation in high ambient temperatures, making it ideal for the demanding environments typical in these markets. The good motor current capacity, enables it to handle rigorous tasks like hill starts with ease. It is optimized for use with permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM), making it suitable for electric scooters, motorcycles, and other electric vehicles. This motor control unit is equipped with two analogue inputs for integrating sensors such as accelerator handles and brakes, along with nine digital inputs for extensive control and configuration options. Communication is streamlined via the CAN protocol, ensuring seamless integration into existing systems.
Advanced Software for Precision Motor Control
Complementing the MC1.5-55A-48V, the company introduces the Enable Tool, a sophisticated software package for the measurement, calibration, and parameterization of motor controllers and battery management systems.
