Description:
- Hands-on experience in Electronics Design, PCB Design and Hardware Testing
- First-hand experience across full electronics NPI flow – Design, Simulations, Schematics, PCB Design, Gerber Release, DFM, Board Bring-up, Board validation testing, Design updates and manufacturing support
- Hand-on experience in working with complex microcontroller and microprocessor or SoC based designs
- Experience in critical component selections, Schematics Design, Electrical Simulations, PCB Design used in hardware designs
- Good understanding of Datasheets, Library creation for Complex Logical and Footprints
- Experience in Digital, Analog, Onboard Power, Mechatronics, Mixed-Signal designs at both Hardware design and PCB design levels
- Good understanding of Signal Integrity and Power Integrity practices during Hardware and PCB design
- Exposure to pre-compliance and compliance testing
- Hands-on experience in Designing High-speed, Mixed Signal multilayer PCB designs, DFx checks
- IPC Standards for Footprint Creation and Layout process and exposure to all relevant IPC standards & MIL Standard design practices
- PCB Designing flow from Library creation to Gerber release to FAB
- High speed Constraints setting and routing – should have worked on High-Speed signal routing
- DRC and Post-processing (Gerber Settings, FAB & Assembly files generation)
- Interaction with Mechanical, Thermal, FAB, Assembly house for clarification and reviews
- Good experience in working with EDA tools – Altium and Cadence EDA suites for both Hardware Design, Simulations and PCB Design
- Ability to understand and debug problems across Hardware/Software boundaries
- Good understanding of complex hardware systems and system integration
- Exposure to International Medical Quality and Regulatory Standards e.g. IEC, FDA, UL, CE, CSA, BIS etc. will be preferred
- Experience in the field of Medical Devices product design e.g. CT, MRI, X-Ray, Infusion Pump systems etc. will be preferred
- Good communication skills and experience in working with multi-cultural environments
