As an Electrical Engineer within our Maternal and Infant Care (MIC) hardware team, you will be instrumental in developing new products and supporting our existing Maternal and Fetal care products. Your role will encompass end-to-end electronic hardware design and firmware development for PWA (Printed Wiring Assembly) boards. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a dynamic team to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Circuit Design:Â Develop electronic circuits and interconnects involving Digital, Analog, Power, and microcontroller/microprocessor-based designs.
- Sensor Interface:Â Design low-voltage and low-noise front end circuit for the sensor interfaces such as ultrasound crystals, ECG, and temperature sensors.
- Simulation and Analysis:Â Conduct circuit simulations using pSpice and perform design calculations for active filters, switched-mode power supplies, and derating analysis.
- Firmware Development:Â Create and implement embedded software for device drivers and communication interfaces using RTOS and 32-bit controllers.
- Product Development:Â Engage in the complete product development lifecycle, including concept, architecture, prototyping, documentation, testing, supply chain management, manufacturing, and service support.
- Documentation:Â Prepare and maintain comprehensive hardware design documentation (HDD), design verification plans (DVP), FMEAs (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), and formal board-level verification reports.
- Troubleshooting:Â Address board bring-up challenges and oversee design verification and validation processes.
