In your new role you will:
- Validate new power stage and control design implementations on application boards.
- Characterize multiphase power management ICÂ to meet Intel and AMD VR specifications.
- Verify new chip-sets and VR solutions for customer applications.
- Test customer application evaluation boards.
- Support the applications engineering team in product development.
- Develop the Test Automation script using Python.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Masters’ or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology or Engineering
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Power Electronics converter.
- Thorough knowledge of basic switching power supplies and topologies
- Good knowledge of passive, active components and simple analog/digital circuits.
- Experience in using lab equipment including DMM, Oscilloscope, Function Generator and Network Analyzer.
- Experience in soldering SMT components.
- Good computing skill in using Microsoft Office Programs to generate test report.
- Familiar with Schematic Capture and PCB layout software is a plus.
- •Experience in Python to develop Automation script for testing.
