Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation B&R Automation in New Delhi, India. You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Cold Calling, primary marketing, enquiry generation. Regular, planned meetings with customers and TCs
  • Understanding of customer requirements / market segment and the trends. Preparing techno-commercial offers, Negotiation & finalization
  • Co-ordination with customer and internal B&R team for smooth execution. Follow-up for dispatch clearance and for payments
  • Introduction of latest products and technical updates to the customers. Promote technical training. Participate in brand promotion through exhibition, seminars & product demos.
  • Monthly projection of customer orders, Report Generation
  • Record customer visit, and update CRM entries regularly. Update yourself with latest in technical happenings •Keep track of after sales support and maintenance. Get references from customer

Qualifications For The Role

  • Minimum 2+ years in Sales role in the Automation industry (Drives, Motion, PLC, SCADA, Mechatronics), preferably in multinational companies. Hands on experience in application development will be added advantage
  • Outstanding Industrial Sales skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and address key issues with maximum integrity and professionalism
  • Experience with technology sales – particularly repetitive sales of complex goods Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering. Professional Management Education will be added advantage
  • Fluency in reading & writing in English, Hindi and regional language
