What are the differences between a UPS and an Inverter?

    What are the actual differences between a UPS and an Inverter, and which is best for home and commercial use?

    As far as I know, the UPS is regularly used for commercial purposes like IT companies. Inverters are much more familiar be seen as home appliances.

    The truth is, no one made an inverter that can work by the usage of a wall socket. The other thing is, no one made an inverter that works by the usage of a wall socket and a UPS can be connected to it to power anything. Both things are unique in their own realms of usages, and neither is better than the other.

    the UPS is an electric device that has a rectifier for providing the backup power to the system whereas the inverter provides power to the system. the main function of thew UPS is to store electric supply while the inverter converts DC power into ac power. Both are suitable for home use depending on the intended purpose.
