We are seeking a seasoned Senior Hardware Engineer to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will play a key role in translating project requirements into robust hardware designs, from initial schematics and layout to successful board bring-up. This position requires extensive experience in product development with a focus on embedded systems, along with a strong proficiency in MCU/MPU architectures, memories, and wireless communication technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the translation of project requirements into detailed hardware designs, including schematics and PCB layouts.
- Execute the board bring-up process, identifying and resolving hardware-related challenges to ensure optimal performance.
- Contribute expertise to the product development lifecycle, emphasizing seamless integration of hardware components into embedded systems.
- Demonstrate a deep working knowledge of MCU/MPU architectures, memories, and wireless communication modules.
- Drive mixed-signal design systems, with a focus on power supplies and solutions for battery-operated devices.
- Apply a solid understanding of design for manufacturability and design for testability principles throughout the hardware development process.
- Leverage experience in EMI/EMC testing, addressing electromagnetic compatibility concerns to meet industry standards.
Qualifications – External
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven track record in hardware design, including translating requirements, schematics, layout, and successful board bring-up. End to end product development experience is critical.
- Extensive experience in product development with embedded systems.
- Strong working knowledge of MCU/MPU architectures, memories, and wireless communication technologies.
- Proficiency in mixed-signal design systems, including power supplies and battery-operated systems.
- Solid understanding and application of design for manufacturability and design for testability principles.
- Experience in EMI/EMC testing is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment.
