Responsibilities & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Embedded Hardware and related technology) .
- Sound knowledge in evaluating the issues that arise in production and drive resolution. Assist in evaluating failed units returned from the field.
- Evaluate and adopt the latest in new technology and research when applicable.
- Work on a team to design, model, fabricate, and test new process systems and test systems in a thorough and timely manner. Assist manufacturing with new production. Provide Engineering with documentation for bills of material, product support, and product line extensions.
- Provide technical assistance to Sales and Marketing for new products.
- Provide production and field support of new and redesigned products throughout the product life cycle. Provide technical support to all areas of Flowserve regarding digital products and smart valve technology.
- Proficiency with computer software design tools (word processor, spreadsheet, internet, CAD,).
- Good knowledge of writing technical reports and training materials and keeping laboratory documentation.
- The ability to diagnose problems through the application of theory and testing.
- Instrumentation experience and knowledge.
