- Companies with limited funds for testing their products can now rent the new solution. A provision for their purchase is also available.
- This will help them recover during the economic slowdown period.
Before materialising a project into a final product that meets international standards and addresses the emerging market needs, a rigorous procedure for design verification and modification or an entirely new development has to be done. Moreover, the current phase of the economic cycle will make recovery from a slowdown difficult and frustrating.
Easy rental provision
To solve this issue, Sensor Technology, a provider of torque measurement solutions and wireless load sensors, has introduced a rental option for its TorqSense range of torque sensors. Companies can now rent the equipment, rather than purchase it, thus avoiding the bottleneck of raising capital purchase approval. And if they want to hold onto their TorqSense for longer than anticipated, then Sensor Technology can convert that rental into a sale.
“Many of our customers have a project where they need to measure torque but know that when the project is concluded they will have no further need for a TorqSense. For them, renting is very attractive,” said Mark Ingham of Sensor Technology.
This is particularly true in academia and high-tech industries.
He also stated that a product should be tested and proven with the right sensors and test equipment before filling any new gaps in the market.
