Key Responsibilities
- Operate analytical instruments and equipment and perform physical analysis in support of production and non-production engineering, quality, and manufacturing groups.
- Acquire and interpret data and document results; provide written results in a laboratory or technical report format when appropriate.
- Develop and document laboratory methods.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repair of instruments and equipment.
- Understand and apply appropriate company and department rules and guidelines to work.
- Work with and train apprentices, trainees, and technicians.
- Interface with customers, suppliers, engineers, and other functions.
- Coordinate programs including planning, scheduling, ordering, and tracking.
- Participate in the maintenance of quality procedures and work instructions.
- Participate in improvement projects.
- Develop and give presentations to customers and suppliers.
- Participate in self- and team-audits and associated corrective action.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Travel across India for field trials to complete the datalogging trials.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience in an appropriate STEM field is required.
- Regionally applicable certification or two-year Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field of study may be required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Qualifications
Skills and Experience:
- Basic experience with turbochargers and their functions.
- Awareness of test cell instrumentation and ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
- Understanding of I/O modules and PLC configuration.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience with Excel programming (VBA) and Power Pivot is desirable.
- Familiarity with statistical software packages (e.g., Minitab, Weibull++, Winsmith, JMP, R-Programming) is preferable.
- Knowledge of engine performance measurement is desired.
- Awareness of warranty data analysis and life data analysis is preferable.
- Experience working in service and quality functions is desirable.
- Ability to handle large data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification.
