In the role of Assembly and FAT Technician (Factory Acceptance Testing), in the Pune Cabinet Shop, you will assemble, test finished cabinet assemblies/Flow cells and perform functional tests on installed equipment for customers
As an Assembly and Test Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Performing inspection of purchased parts, materials, components, and equipment
- Determining and executing the methods, sequences, and procedures necessary for work completion
- Working from engineering drawings, sketches, data sheets, specifications, and computers
- Using a variety of tools, and follow processes to produce defect-free work
- Testing finished electrical cabinet assemblies (i.e. read and understand wiring diagrams, end to end wiring tests, mechanical layout checks, Insulation resistance and continuity tests)
- Performing Functional tests on installed equipment and Setting up customer computers and associated networks
- Updating technical and quality documentation and acting as technology resource for the production floor
- Learning and use Six Sigma methodologies to enhance quality and efficiency
- Testing monitoring systems (i.e. Bently Nevada 3500) which includes downloading configuration files, applying test signals
- Executing factory acceptance test plans and recording test results and Frequently interface with customers during Factory Acceptance Tests
- Assisting Project Engineers with changes to 3500 and S1 configurations and Witness Flow cell calibrations at designated vendor locations which will involve frequent traveling
- Performing other duties as necessary to support Cabinet Shop team and Takes initiative to learn new skills, work effectively in a multi-team environment

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have an associate degree in Electronics from an accredited college or university or diploma with 3 years relevant electronics test experience and Minimum 6 months of experience in electronics trouble shooting and Cabinet Assembly
- Have to work overtime, weekends, and holidays, as required
- Have to work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending environment and other physical activities and be in a shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
- Have to lift objects weighing up to 25 kgs and Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities
- Have good knowledge of wiring diagrams, blueprints, or assembly prints and Self-starter with ability to work independently within defined work scope
- Have an ability to work from assembly drawings, bills of material, specifications, and data sheets and Strong passion for Safety and Quality, familiar with Local Area (Ethernet) Networks etc.
