As an Engineer on the PoE Team you will design and develop DC/DC convertors to support PoE next generation product introductions. You will assist customers to integrate your designs into their systems. This position will allow you to be an integral part of the future growth of the PoE product line as we expand our product portfolio to meet next generation requirements.
Key job responsibilities/duties include
- Design and development of DC/DC convertors to support various new PoE product introductions
- Interactions with the Microchip PoE technical staff and Customer Design staff
Requirements/Qualifications
- Minimum education BSEE or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in DC/DC Converter Design required
- Use of Allegro and ORCAD tools is required
- PoE experience desired but not required
- Background in EMC & immunity desired
- Hands on and experience with lab equipment is desired
- Good oral and written English Language.
