This is a full-time on-site role for an Electronics Specialist. The electronics specialist will be responsible for all electronic and coding-related requirements at the studio. The key skills and non-negotiables include good knowledge of PCB Design, 3D Printing, and Expert understanding of electronics and electronics parts, troubleshooting products and their systems for the user. We are a multi-disciplinary studio and deal extensively with textiles, wood, and metal as our primary materials, it is important to us that the candidate can flexibly and effectively communicate with other team members and work with certain ownership towards the tasks of the studio.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of electronics and hardware
- Expertise in PCB Design and hacking electronics
- An inclination for tinkering with technologies to come up with innovative outcomes
- Good communication skills to effectively relay electrical engineering concepts
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience in multimedia design is a plus
- Punctuality and ownership are two well-revered traits at the studio
- A sense of humor is always a plus
