Who we are and what we’re looking for:
Okulo Aerospace is a start-up based out of Bengaluru, Karnataka. Combining renewable energy and precision engineering, we are currently developing solar- electric hybrid aerial platforms that will revolutionise aerial data acquisition. We envision a world where drones can fly continuously without having to land at all and we are currently in the first step towards that realising that vision. Founded by alumni from Purdue University (USA) and NIT-Trichy (India) with extensive research background and with a vision to nurture great teams and develop solutions for hard problems, we are looking at joining hands with the next generation of talented individuals looking to embark on this exciting journey. Key Responsibilities
- Work with the engineering team to design and implement electronic systems on fixed-wing drones/multi copters
- Perform testing, calibration and validation of electronics systems to ensure they meet performance standards
- Troubleshoot and identify issues with electronics systems during testing and development
- Participate in documentation and report writing related to system integration and testing
- Assist in the preparation of technical presentations and reports for internal and external audiences
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering
- Knowledge of copter/fixed-wing assembly and integration
- Exposure to platforms like Ardupilot/PX4/Betaflight
- Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrable ability to learn and write about new technical topics rapidly and accurately
