Job Description
- People development in line with PDPs, engagement, and motivation, multi-skilled associates, organize all kinds of required training
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians, Utility Associates  and storekeeper to deliver optimum value for our consumers on a day-to-day basis
- Ensure following and enabling the team to adhere to and lead all Safety, Food Safety, Sustainability, HACCP, Local regulations, and ISO requirements.
- Facilitation and coordination of all reactive (breakdown) work at a factory and set priorities of works in shift, coordination for external support following laydown procedures.
- Providing first-line technical leadership, guidance and support for the team
- Plan & Schedule the electrical & instrumentation driven PM/Troubleshooting/ Reliability of the assets ( Operation & Utility both) and impart the skill development for the electricians and contractors. (Selection, Installing, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment & spare components like all Electrical Systems- UPS, transformer, LT /HT panels, panels incorporating VCB, ACB, Breakers, Chillers, DG’s, Compressor & other Manufacturing Machine Panels.
- Plan and develop the improvements in electrical & mechanical store items and should be well worse with the SAP / ATLAS interface.
- Plan and schedule all maintenance activities to ensure compliance master maintenance plan and to improvise further.
- Accountable for organizing and implementing all planned and unplanned maintenance activities on time with the required quality, automation to reduce manual intervention, Maintaining and improving regulatory compliance for safety-related systems of Weight & measurement, electrical & mechanical domains. Design & Review of SOP & WI of maintenance activities. Troubleshooting of Instruments, PLC, VFDs and Automation / Electric Control Panels.
- All works should be organized to fully satisfy all requirements from Value stream, write from safety adherence, inventory, work order, scheduling and uptime enhancement.
- Periodically measure and analyse wrench time, discuss with stakeholders and line manager what work can be given to effectively utilize shift resources, and provide implementation of preventive works.
- Periodically measure and analyse key maintenance KPIs, collaborate with the team to come up with action plans and improvements
- Responsible for the maintenance Budget where he/she needs to plan, prepare a forecast for the total year budget, track and control the maintenance Budget on a periodic basis
- Leading Maintenance morning meetings, representing maintenance team in the DOM to comply with FMOS standards
- Support and cooperate with the Technical/ Maintenance Manager, Representing the MIS/ Task in hand/ implementing new maintenance systems basis alignment
- Support and collaborate with the site facility management team (for Utilities and building) to have smooth factory operations
- Responsible for following the Change control cards, work permit & work completion system and its records.
- This role requires working in shifts/ including general shifts as per the site requirement involving scattered weekly Off.
Educational & Professional Qualification
- Education: BE/B. Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electrical or Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering from a reputable college/University
- 5 to 10 years of Experience. (Maintenance of manufacturing plant including plant operation ( engineering & utility) & lead a team of technicians & electricians)
