We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer with a strong ability to excel in our world-class Engineering team at Thermo Fisher Scientific India Pvt Ltd. in Chandigarh. This role offers the chance to contribute to a company that is dedicated to making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
Responsibilities
- Conduct perfect installation, maintenance, and repair of our scientific instruments and equipment at customer sites.
- Attend all Breakdown calls and closures within the assigned service parameters of response time by
accurate allocation of time to achieve customers - Collaborate with teams from various departments to identify the underlying causes of technical issues and effectively implement solutions.
- Have complete ownership of the service delivery process for the assigned customer base. Providing timely Preventive maintenance to the assigned set of customers
- Complete designated responsibilities by established safety guidelines and protocols.
- Achievement of financial objectives as assigned and completion of the cycle of order process.
Achieve the assigned spares and Service revenue targets. Keeping track of ensuring payment
collections for the transactions done for the assigned customer base. - Document all service activities accurately and efficiently.
- Follow guidelines on attendance, leaves, mobile policies, travel policies, and other policies to
achieve proper discipline of operations
Requirements
- Education / Qualification: Diploma / Graduation in Electronics / Refrigeration engineering
- Experience Requirements: 3 – 7 years experience in the field of Laboratory equipment
Good Knowledge of maintenance and servicing of Freezers (Fixing breakdowns of
refrigerators, Ultra-low Freezers, leakage finding, Brazing, Gas charging, Compressor replacement) - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and efficient working at the customer locations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
