Job Activities
- Hardware circuit design, development, and verification of communication module (CAN, LIN,
- FlexRay, Ethernet, and Power Line communication) and associated circuits
- Verification of communication HW circuits
- Design and Test result Documentation
- Circuit design, Schematics, Worst Case Calculations, Simulations, BOM, and Design Verification
- Participation in design / integration reviews
- Coordination with project teams and other stakeholders
- Understanding the Test Plan provided and performing Lab Measurements
- To be able to perform Soldering and re-work on Electronic Test boards
- Coordination with external vendors for procurement of Electronic components and Lab equipment
Skills Required
- Good Know how of Basic Electronics. Should be able to design and understand simple Electronic circuits based on Requirements.
- Should be able to understand datasheets of Electronic Components from different suppliers.
- Schematics and eBOM preparation using tools like Orcad, Pspice, LTspice
- Experience in Lab Verification and Measurements using test equipment like Oscilloscopes,
- Power Supplies, Electronic Loads, Data logger, CANAnalyzer, DSO, etc. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze the hardware issues in the ECU/Test boards
- Experience in soldering Soldering, de-soldering SMDs, ASICS, and uCs activity at board level
- Experience in ECU/Test board rework-related activities
- Experience in coordination with external vendors for procurement of Electronic Components and Lab equipment
Advantage:
- Good knowledge and experience in Automotive vehicle communication technologies (CAN,
- LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, and Power line communication), including high-speed design
- Experience in design, development, testing, and maintenance of HW circuits preferred
- Experience in using the lab equipment, measuring instruments, and Testing HW circuits
- Good knowledge of EMC/EMI regulations and design rules, PCB Layout concepts
- Good know-how in Analog Circuit Design, Digital circuit design, and Microcontrollers
- Work experience with Verification/Simulation tools (Pspice/Orcad/ Mathcad/ Matlab/ Saber)
- Knowledge of PD and thermal evaluation
- Good automotive domain knowledge & automotive standards
- Knowhow of product development life cycle, design for manufacturing
- Good presentation skills, oral and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills
