Looking for an enthusiastic engineer to join our creative team and design PCBs for our awesome products. The engineer must have at least 2 years of work experience working in Altium Designer (we don’t use Orcad or any other tool) and must have worked on various domains such as RF, High Speed, high power designs, etc.
Qualification: Doesn’t matter as long as you can design PCB
Candidate must have
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Schematics and Layout in Altium Designer
- Designed Multi-Layer boards involving technologies such as RF, power electronics, digital and analog control
- Good understanding of Layer Stackup, Design Rules, Library Management, Design Documentation in Altium Designer
- Good understanding of Embedded protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, WiFi, BLE, etc
- Experience in selecting components for a particular design based on the functionality requirements and thus should have a proper understanding of cost/quality trade-off
- Experience in understanding existing designs and making changes as per the requirement
- Hands-on experience in soldering SMD components
- Good understanding of board bring up, board rework, circuit debugging, fault analysis and thus should be good with all major testing tools and equipment
Good to have
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC compliance
- Understanding of hardware certifications such as CE, UL, etc
- Experience in working with any mechanical CAD tool
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to coordinate with fabricator, assembly house, and component vendors
- Understanding of Embedded Software Development and C in general
