Job Overview
Qualcomm’s QCT software target power team is focused on achieving industry leading power efficient next-generation system-on-chip solutions. We are looking for a system engineer to work with cross functional teams to architect solutions that optimizes SoC power by enabling advanced power features in wireless devices. The job responsibility shall comprise chipset and system level power analysis on Qualcomm’s Modem and Application processors, optimize power-on present generation designs and help architect future products, guide multi-function groups through the design cycle in realizing the power targets set forth at the inception of the project and customer interaction to advertise the capabilities of the chipset and to understand and address customer specific power requirements.
Minimum Qualification
2+ years of industry experience with understanding of SoC power management, hands on experience of enabling different power management schemes on Linux Android platform, good understanding of microprocessor and common SoC hardware blocks (Processor, Interconnects, IO, Display, Graphics, Modem etc.). Added advantage with knowledge of LTE, Modem, Multimedia, and Wireless communication.
Additional Skills
Knowledge of any programming language (C, C++, python), embedded programming, and on target debugging experience using JTAG/Trace32.
