Responsibilities
- He/she performs the Certification and Validation activities for part of the train delegated by the TVE during project execution
- He/she writes the Train test procedures
- He/she carries out type, validation or investigation tests, and preparing reports
- He/she defines and implements the most appropriate testing methodology and means of testing
- He/she develops test operating modes and analyses test results

- Hierarchical: SCVM Site Certification & Validation Manager
- Functional: Train Validation Engineer
Network & Links
- Internal Interfaces: Train System Engineer, RAMS manager, Test Laboratory Manager, Test Engineers
- External Interfaces: Engineering subcontractors, Test laboratories
Accountable for
- Advertisement -
Executing tests and providing reports.
Responsible for
- Executing activities are given by the Train Validation Engineer (TVE)
- Updating the Validation Plan
- Writing Train System test procedures
- Ensuring the timely issuing of the Validation proves (including proves of lower level systems and components) and consolidates Validation files
- Providing structured REX to feed costing activities, and to enrich the CV metier technical repository
Knowledge & Experience
- Train system knowledge (system analysis, railways) : at least 2 years
- Tests organization capability, knowledge of planning tools
- Fluent in English
- Required electrical habilitation level (french definitions):
- B2V – B2V Essai – BE Essais – BR – BC
- H2V – H2V Essais – HE Essais – HC
