PSNE team provides 24×7 coverage and support for the Flipkart DC Infrastructure and is responsible for monitoring, reporting, and escalation of any IT Infrastructure related issues. This includes all SLA issues; such as Severity 0 & Severity 1 incidents/Outages where a Network infrastructure or a Carrier may experience issues. This also involves identifying, troubleshooting, and escalating issues with systems and applications reported through monitoring systems or Triggered Alerts.
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Monitor all the configured components on the network dashboard, report and escalate to concerns accordingly.
- Rapidly responding to all alerts triggered through EMS to restore or escalating
- Incident/Outage(SEV0,SEV1) issues as per established SLAs and track/follow up and post updates until closure.
- Report/Track/Follow up Link issues triggered through EMS and escalate to ISP’s, coordinate end to end until closure along with RFO.
- Report/Track/Follow up network component/internal network fabric issues triggered through EMS and escalate to concerns, coordinate end to end until closure.
- Facilitate technical/crisis management conference calls during Major ILL/NLD Link outages with concerned ISP’s and Internal stake holders.
- Track and participate/coordinate in planned activities of DC’s gears/links.
- Facilitate in automating BAU with less human intervention.
- Ability to implement, manage, automate, tweak, streamline, alerting systems of EMS through scripting or other available resources.
- Track & publish reports captured through internal Incident reporting portal.
- Facilitate and coordinate/lead for MBR/QBR with Internal stake holders and vendors.
Qualifications
- One plus years with NOC Operational Support on Basic Datacenter Environment
- Working Knowledge and experience with Operations Support and Escalations, Change Management, Cisco, Juniper, Linux OS, scripting, Enterprise monitoring tools and entry/intermediate level Networking Skills, certification on networking skills would be an added advantage.
- Ability to multi-task and work during production crisis situations
- Good Analytical and problem solving skills
- Good verbal and written communications.
- Diploma or BSc or BCA or BE in Electronics / Computer Science or equivalent experience.
