- As a Reliability EDA engineer in the team, you will be working on EDA solutions for design Reliability analysis.
- Work with internal customers and stakeholders from IP and SoC design teams for providing tools, flows and also guide, consult for design analysis for reliability
- Collaborate with process development teams for reliability analysis models and their impact on designs
- Drive external EDA vendors on their tools being qualified for TI requirements
- Define EDA methods and flows, architect tools collaborating closely with driver design teams
- Develop and test EDA tools
- Create automations for testing and releasing of tools
- Create user documentation and training material for new features and tools for customers
What do we expect from you? (Mini Qualifications)
Minimum Requirements
Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field of study
2-7 years of relevant experience in EDA development combined with a passion for automation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong electrical analysis skill of RC circuits
- Good CMOS circuits basics and simulation experience
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated strong software-architecture definition and programming skills
- Proficiency in programming languages and technologies as needed for projects: Perl, Python, Tcl, C/C++, Cadence SKILL, SQL, CGI, Verilog etc.
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Ability to take the initiative and drive to results
- Skills to manage time and multi-task at work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team-work is imperative in this role
Preferred Skills/ Experience
- 2-7 years of experience in EDA development in one or more of the below domains
- Design reliability analysis – Electro-migration, Gate Oxide reliability and Aging
- IR-Drop analysis Signoff checks of digital designs (Place & Route physical and backend checks)
- ESD EDA or ESD cell development or ESD design analysis at both schematic and layout level
- Experience with Industry EDA tools for reliability analysis of digital and analog/mixed-signal IC design, along with simulators
- Experience with Industry EDA tools for IR-drop analysis for digital designs
- Experience with Industry tools for simulation and design for ESD related usage
- Experience of Cadence Virtuoso Analog Design Environment
- Experience in EDA flow/tool development
