General Summary
- Provide hardware design support to customers developing wireless products.
- Research and answer a wide range of in-depth technical questions related to integration of QCT chipsets.
- Perform block diagram, schematic, placement and PCB design reviews on customer products.
- Resolve technical problems via hands-on trouble shooting.
- Aid customers to implement new technology using Qualcomm chipsets.
- Provide upfront support to the business teams for new projects. Create customer facing documentation related to Qualcomms portfolio of RF products.
- Understanding of RF systems and familiarity with cellular standards.
- Ability to conduct GSM/C2K/TDSCDMA/WCDMA/LTE/5G SUB6/5G mmW test.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 4+ years of work experience in Relevant Field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Experience of working in a RF SW/ Modem SW is a must esp. low level driver implementation and log analysis.
- Understanding in RF component characteristics and behavior.
- Problem solving and analytical skill.
- Familiar with PCB CAD tools such as Allegro and PADS.
- Digital circuit design, software programming, or power management is a plus.
- Good understanding of cellular standards is a big plus.
