Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and layout of PCBs using industry-standard CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer/ KiCad).
- Collaborate with engineers to understand design requirements and specifications.
- Create and update schematic diagrams and PCB layouts based on design inputs and feedback. – Perform design rule checks (DRC) and electrical rule checks (ERC) to ensure compliance with design standards.
- Participate in the prototyping and testing of PCB designs, including soldering components and debugging issues.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for PCB designs, including Bill of Materials (BOM), Gerber files, and assembly drawings.
- Work with the manufacturing team to ensure successful production and assembly of PCB prototypes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for design processes and tools.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in PCB design technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of electronic circuits and components.
- Familiarity with PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer) is preferred.
- Knowledge of schematic capture and PCB layout principles.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Basic soldering skills and hands-on experience with electronic components and prototyping.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with signal integrity analysis and thermal management considerations in PCB design.
- Familiarity with various PCB fabrication and assembly processes.
- Knowledge of industry standards and guidelines such as IPC standards.
- Previous internship or project experience in PCB design and development.

Skills and Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
