About the program:
Objective: To apply rich knowledge and research mindset and empower them to build rewarding and satisfying careers in the fields of transport and infrastructure.
Structure: Paid program of nine-month duration
Eligibility: PhD Scholars registered with any university in India or abroad in a relevant academic discipline, currently employed or doing projects in specifically identified areas (Currently pursuing Ph.D).
We are currently looking for a system design Engineer to join the Powertrain Team
As a System Design Engineer you will be working over the whole span of activities of embedded system design and development. For instance, you will be working on Combustion system, EATS, 48V system,etc..

This position is within GTT (Group Trucks Technology) Powertrain Engineering where we work with multiple systems and components within design, development of our products for various trucks and bus ranges supporting global sites in both medium-duty and heavy-duty areas.

You experience/understanding from the automotive industry, system development, software development or you are a Function Developer with great attitude working cross functional and have a willingness to learn and take more responsibility
Required skills and experience
- Good Knowledge on Model Based development
- Automotive Understanding from the propulsion domain (combustion engines, EATS, driveline, electromobility,48V system…)
- Phd in Electronics / Electrical & Electronics / Control system Engineering or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
Merit
Automotive experience, MATLAB/Simulink model development, Target link, C, Embedded SW/HW, Control theory, HIL CAN, LIN, ISO 26262, J1939, AUTOSAR, Systems Engineering, Python.
Preferred: Function/SW development for Powertrain products understanding the technical aspects of a transmission.
