Same Sky’s Thermal Management Group has expanded its product offerings by launching thermoelectric generator (TEG) modules, designed to harness waste heat and convert it into usable power. These new TEG modules are ideal for applications where heat is typically wasted, such as in industrial processes, enabling energy recovery that would otherwise be lost.
The TEG modules generate output power ranging from 5.4 to 21.6 W and come in compact sizes ranging from 30 x 30 mm to 56 x 56 mm, with profile thicknesses as low as 3.5 mm. Featuring silicone sealing and durable materials, these modules can withstand continuous maximum hot side temperatures of up to 300°C, making them well-suited for high-temperature environments. They are equipped with graphite pad options that simplify the thermal interface, ensuring easy integration into various systems.
Key specifications include:
- Output Power: 5.4 W to 21.6 W
- Open Circuit Voltage: 8 to 17.7 Vdc
- Hot Side Temperature: Up to 300°C
The ac resistance ranging from 0.25 to 4.2 ohms, measured at 27°C and 1000 Hz. This versatility allows them to be used in a wide range of applications, from industrial to consumer sectors, especially in waste heat recovery systems.
These TEG modules are available immediately, with a starting price of $49.55 per unit for orders of 25 pieces through distribution. Same Sky offers tailored pricing for OEM customers and is ready to assist with product inquiries. The price starts at $49.55 per unit for a set of 25 pieces, with availability ranging from in stock to up to 8 weeks. These products are suitable for a variety of applications, including industrial, consumer, and waste heat recovery purposes. It has silicone sealing, options for graphite pads, and the ability to withstand maximum hot side temperatures of up to 300°C.
