Ametek Micro-Poise is seeking for an Electrical & Controls Design & Drafting Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in Electrical design and drafting for industrial machinery.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in electrical & Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of experience preparing and/or modifying electrical schematic (wiring diagram) for industrial machinery.
Major responsibilities and skillset will include the following
- Knowledge in Electrical and Control systems used in Industrial equipment
- Develop electrical schematics, including 3-line diagrams, control circuit diagrams, panel layouts, component hook-up diagrams, cable layout, etc
- Proficiency in electrical design, drawing, and report generation using EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical for medium and high-sized projects
- Knowledge of electrical design and safety standards for industrial machinery such as IEC, IEEE, NEMA
- 2+year experience programming PLC and HMI
- Should be able to understand and incorporate design change requirements communicated by project leads
- Basic knowledge of hydralic and pneumatic control systems
- Good technical writing and documentation skills
- Assist in the creation of manuals that describe existing products’ operation, features, and maintenance
