Silent Angel has recently announced the release of a Forester F2, a linear power supply specifically made for the home HiFi system. The Forester F2 offers 4 different linear power outputs that is optimized for improving the musical performance in various approaches. The power supply has toroidal transformers and low noise MOSFETs and the circuitry is designed to eliminate high-frequency electrical noises, it also makes the transmission steadier, reducing jitter and latency issues. The power supply is housed in an SECC galvanized steel for better durability.
The Forester F2 has 4 different power outputs that include 12V/3A, 12V/1A, 5V/2A, 5V/1A. The company claims that it complements the company’s other product series like the Z1, N8 Pro, M1/M1T, etc. The power supply uses fully symmetric power circuits which use low noise MOSFETs in a parallel configuration and toroidal transformers. In order to eliminate high-frequency electrical noises in the range of 1M to 18GHz, it employs high-permeability EMI absorbers which is embedded on the mainboard. Furthermore, to eliminate any noise due to mechanical vibrations, high-quality aluminum and SECC grade galvanized steel is used in the exterior which reduces the chance of oxidation and corrosion.
