Hikvision India has launched the latest models of Gas Leak Detectors—HF-GP110 and HF-GN110—for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and Piped Natural Gas (PNG), aimed at enhancing safety in residential and commercial kitchens. These detectors are designed to alert users to gas leaks, preventing fire hazards. These devices are versatile in their application and are suitable for various settings such as domestic kitchens, community cooking areas, and larger venues like restaurants and hotels.

The HF-GP110 model specifically detects LPG leaks and alerts users when gas concentrations reach critical levels. Similarly, the HF-GN110 model responds to PNG leaks. Both models boast features such as multiple alarm functions, test and silence options, fault and malfunction notifications, and log-saving capabilities that record various types of operational data.

Additionally, they support valve and fan outputs, enhancing their functionality in emergencies.

These detectors operate on a 12-volt power supply, producing an 85 dB alarm sound. They can be integrated with fire alarm systems, intrusion alarms, video door phones, solenoid valves, and home automation systems, making them a comprehensive safety solution for protecting homes and commercial cooking facilities from fire risks.

While commenting on the launch of Hikvision LPG & PNG Gas Detectors, Ashish P. Dhakan, MD & CEO of Prama Hikvision India Private Limited, said, “We are happy to introduce a unique set of gas detectors that will ensure the safety of Indian homes and kitchens. The homemakers, chefs and cooks will have these gas detectors to alert them in case of any gas leakage in their kitchen or cooking facilities. This device will be a preventive tool for fire safety at homes, kitchens and commercial cooking facilities. It will also work as a deterrent to fire hazards, which happen due to gas leakage and other factors.”
