Infineon’s Shield2Go boards are installed with XENSIVTM PAS CO2 sensor and consist of a ready-to-use Arduino library. Its new prototyping concept consists of a hardware and a software package that allows designers to quickly and efficiently set up the demonstration environment. XENSIV PAS CO2 Shield2Go board enables the development of a custom application with Arduino and Raspberry PI.
According to the company, the dimensions of the board are 14 x 13.8 x 7.5 mm3 with various configuration options and interfaces such as UART, I2C, and PWM. It provides a DC/DC boost converter that furnishes the sensor with the required 12 V power supply and offers high accuracy and strong performance in the ppm range fulfilling the most strict air quality regulations & standards. Therefore, Infineon Technologies AG is launching the new XENSIV PAS CO2 Shield2Go board, which is suitable for both air quality monitoring and demand-controlled ventilation for energy savings.
Infineon’s Shield2Go boards are equipped with featured Infineon ICs and provide a standardized form factor and pin layout for fast orientation. Boards come with connectors without soldering allowing designers to stack the boards. This enables developers to develop their system solutions by combining Shield2Go boards with Infineon IoT adapters.
