SCHURTER, an international innovator and manufacturer of electric and electronic components in collaboration with ILITEK, a manufacturer of industrial touch controllers aims to serve further customer-specific requirements in industry and medical technology with the help of their chip solutions. Compatible projected capacitive touchscreens (PCAP) standard touch screens based on foil and DITO glass have been qualified and are available for all common diagonals according to specification.
Chip-on-Flex solutions are also available with the ILITEK controllers. In these solutions, the chip is mounted directly on the tail of the touch sensor. This allows identical features such as separate controller board, but with more cost-effective and compact design.
Furthermore, SCHURTER also has PCAP controllers from PenMount, EETI and maXTouch from Microchip in its portfolio.
