The TAGARNO’s glare removal functionality intelligently controls the ring light, capturing and analyzing the sample from multiple lighting angles to produce a well-illuminated glare-free image.
TAGARNO has introduced a new Glare removal feature to address the issue of glare in microscopy and improve image quality. The TAGARNO’s Glare removal feature enables the operators to eliminate glare with a simple press of a button. This new software functionality intelligently controls the ring light, capturing and analyzing the sample from multiple lighting angles to produce a well-illuminated glare-free image. To capture a glare-free image, operators can choose the appropriate setting and press the Snapshot key on the control box. TAGARNO’s Glare removal feature allows operators to obtain clearer and more accurate microscopic images, ensuring that the operator has to face less eye strain thus improving the comfort, efficiency and quality of work.
Digital glare removal in microscopy for electronics refers to a technique or process used to reduce or eliminate glare or reflections that can occur when examining electronic components under a microscope. Glare or reflections can interfere with the visibility of the specimen, making it difficult to observe and analyze the fine details. Glare, caused by directional reflections from reflective materials, can significantly reduce image clarity and detail. Traditional methods to minimize glare include anti-reflective coatings, coaxial illuminators, polarizers, and gooseneck or oblique illuminators.
“We are excited to introduce the Glare Removal feature to our customers,” said Anders Ravnskjær Pedersen, Head of R&D, at TAGARNO. “This innovative functionality represents a significant leap forward in microscopy imaging, allowing users to effortlessly obtain glare-free images with superior clarity and accuracy. By automating the process of capturing and combining images, the Glare Removal feature eliminates the complexities associated with glare, enabling users to focus on their analysis and research.”
