Showcasing vibrant touchscreen displays, seamless satellite integration, and intuitive, real-time interaction, the new PLC are transparent, efficient, and interactive.

Display Visions unveils its programmable logic controller (PLC) mini control unit family, a leap forward in the PLC systems world. While traditional PLC controllers often remained obscured, functioning as silent “black boxes”, this new line ensures everything is out in the open, fostering easy interaction and oversight.

The core of this family isn’t just about controlling but also about clear communication. The Core central control unit showcases a vibrant 2.8-inch IPS touchscreen display, making data visualisation immediate and intuitive. To input commands or adjust parameters, use the touchscreen as the portal. It is designed to connect seamlessly with up to 50 satellite displays. This connection transforms each satellite into a hub for monitoring, setup, and personalised views. To observe process data or input parameters, any connected display can handle the task due to its software-driven flexibility.

Communication is streamlined with the Core’s inbuilt Ethernet capabilities, RS-485 interface, and WiFi. As the processes run, data parameters on the Core and its satellites update in real-time. The company offers options in satellite display sizes to accommodate varying data input and output needs. While a 4.3” version is available, watch for an expanded range from 2” to a hefty 10.1”. Each version promises superior readability, perfect even under the glaring sun, with a generous 160-degree viewing angle. Depending on your spatial needs, you can select from different mounting styles, including wall, flush-mount, and top-hat rail.

The Core’s placement is tailored for top-hat rail mounting, ensuring a hassle-free fit in any control cabinet. Regarding programming, the company has yet to skip a beat. They offer PLC Designer, a free Windows tool replete with a graphical WYSIWYG editor. It’s packed with pre-designed elements, allowing users to customise pages easily. Plus, with the PLC designer, adjusting the display brightness of connected satellites is a cinch. The company’s new PLC mini control unit family transforms the PLC landscape, turning what was once hidden into something visible, interactive, and supremely efficient.
