  • Frequency range: 10 MHz to 18 GHz
  • Continuous average, trace as well as time gate power measurement functions
  • Compact, rugged housing

The R&S NRPxE sensors boast an expansive dynamic range of 80 dB, a video bandwidth of 100 kHz, and the capability to perform up to 1,000 measurements per second. Supporting frequency ranges from 10 MHz to 8 GHz or 18 GHz, they meet the requirements of both modulated and unmodulated signal analysis. Their compact and robust design ensures seamless operation in challenging conditions, delivering reliability and precision wherever needed.

With an IEEE-compliant label and connector color coding, the R&S NRPxE simplifies operation, minimizing setup errors. An integrated trigger capability and RGB status LED enhance usability by enabling clear visualization of sensor status and streamlined measurement triggering. These thoughtful features reduce complexity for both novice and experienced users.

Enhanced Connectivity

Equipped with a USBTMC interface, the sensors integrate effortlessly into test systems and support remote control from PCs or mobile devices. The free PowerViewer mobile app further extends their utility, allowing users to conduct field measurements directly via Android smartphones—ideal for maintenance and on-the-go testing.

The R&S NRPxE sensors replace the established NRP-Z2x1 series, bringing state-of-the-art capabilities for precise power measurement. These new sensors are now available through Rohde & Schwarz and authorized distributors.
