Roles and Responsibilities

  • Transfer product (connector or electronic solutions) development requirements into technical specifications and implementation guidelines or assign them to related experts and departments
  • Create/Enhance the standard product development document templates for functional assignments
  • Engage/collaborate with stakeholders, department leaders, process owners, and Subject Matter Experts to develop a standard source of information
  • Capture and update information from customer, industry, and internal standards and feedback information from Subject matter Experts into Library Specifications
  • Analyze, clarify, and document product development requirements considering relevant norms and standards in the connector / electronic industry
  • Document the product requirements in the tools with Functional/Nonfunctional/Safety/Quality related classifications
  • Facilitate the migration, development, update, and release of Library specifications, Product Requirements Specifications, Test Specifications, Test Cases, and Test Objects

Educational Background

  • Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
  • Preferred: 3-6 yrs.

Requirements

  • Min 2 years of experience as a Requirements Engineer, Test/Validation Engineer, Quality Engineer, Technical Writer, or similar role
  • Excellent Technical writing skills to plan, create and maintain documents
  • Polarion knowledge
  • Experience in technical writing of engineering/technical documentation
  • Knowledge of connector/cable assembly electrical, mechanical requirements/industry specifications in new product development
  • Ability to translate highly technical information into easily understandable information for customers
  • Excellent written skills in English
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to understand the global process and policies to execute the tasks

What would put you ahead

  • Working knowledge of connectors, cable, electronic assembly development process and testing
  • Knowledge of Electrical Connector standards (EIA, IEC, IEEE, NEMA, ANSI and etc.)
  • Experience performing PFMEA/DFMEA/DVP
  • Experience with Quality Systems (ISO 9001)
