ADLINK Technology Inc. has announced the release of the SBC35 Series, a new line of 3.5” Single Board Computers (SBC) designed for use in compact spaces. The series includes two models: the SBC35-RPL, which utilizes 13th Gen Intel Core processors, and the SBC35-ALN, which features the Intel N97 processor. These models are designed to support various applications in industries such as automation, transportation, medical, and smart city projects, including Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations, and self-service kiosks. The SBC35-RPL model offers support for up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM with a speed of 4800MHz and can power up to four independent displays simultaneously. On the other hand, the SBC35-ALN model supports up to 16GB of DDR5 4800MHz RAM and is capable of driving three independent displays.
The key features include:
- Built on a 146x102mm 3.5” SBC form factor, prioritizing space efficiency and functionality.
- Connectivity options:Four USB ports,M.2 slots, Dual RS-232/422/485 ports, RS-232 ports.
- Models have Audio capabilities and Digital I/O capabilities.
- Optional TPM 2.0 module is available for enhanced security, tailored to various industrial needs.
The company has also introduced the SBC-FM Adaptive Function Modules (AFM) as part of this series. These modules provide flexible I/O expansion and allow for customized functionality tailored to specific project requirements. The SBC-FM modules connect to the mainboard via an FPC cable and include reserved connectors like PCIe, USB, and LPC/eSPI. This design supports seamless integration and offers high thermal resilience in challenging environments.
The company provides a design guide to assist customers in developing their own function modules for the SBC35 series, enabling further customization to meet specific application needs. The SBC35 series is positioned to serve a broad range of industries, offering the tools necessary for customization and enhanced system performance.
