Littelfuse, Inc.has introduced the new C&K EL2 Series Tactile Switches. These sealed, surface-mount technology (SMT) tactile switches are designed for general-purpose switching, offering enhanced performance and reliability across various electronic devices.  The Series stands out with its IP67-rated sealing, market-standard size, and versatility. Available in 3.5 mm and 5.2 mm heights, these switches are designed for easy integration into existing designs. They offer two actuation forces: 2 newtons for light touch and 3.5 newtons for firmer pressure, ensuring precise operation in dusty environments. The IP67 rating guarantees protection against dust and water ingress, making them ideal for various applications.

With a lifecycle of 200,000 cycles and the flexibility to withstand harsh conditions, the EL2 Series offers designers a reliable and cost-effective solution for tactile switch requirements. The Tactile Switches are available in tape-and-reel format, with 2,000 units for the 3.5 mm version and 1,400 units for the 5.2 mm version. Sample requests can be made through authorised Littelfuse distributors worldwide.
