Innodisk, Taiwan who is a global leader in AI solutions has developed its E1.S SSD, a solid-state drive specifically developed to enhance edge computing environments where performance, reliability, and thermal management are crucial. Optimised for PCIe Gen 5, the E1.S also addresses the common heat and power challenges in high-performance scenarios, especially in M.2 SSDs, and includes a hot-plug design for easy, seamless upgrades. Validated for next-generation industrial computers and edge servers, the E1.S is compatible with NVIDIA’s MGX short-form edge AI server, which makes it a suitable choice for AI and edge processing. Additionally, the company offers the E3.S SSD, an option with expanded capacity and durability, ideal for larger server infrastructures in data centres.
