ASSOCHAM announced their startup launchpad series that aims to provide mentorship and marketing guidance for start-ups.
India has one of the largest start-up ecosystems in the world and it is growing consistently. Technical challenges and start-up contests help boost the start-up culture and create an environment of entrepreneurship in India. For the same purpose, the Government of India launched Start-up India in 2016. The Indian start-up ecosystem recorded a total funding amount of $70 Bn across 5,985 funding deals from 2014 to 2020 with a $115.5 Bn valuation.Â
The Government of India recently announced the launch of Rs. 1,000-crore ‘Start-up India Seed Fund’ to support start-ups and help budding entrepreneurs pursue innovative ideas. The rise of start-ups in India will result in more innovations and more research and development activities. By this initiative, more start-ups can be incubated. An incubator’s primary objective is to produce successful and financially viable firms that can survive on their own. Mentorship is considered vital in the start-up ecosystem for building a successful start-up.
Moreover, marketing is one of the biggest challenges most startups face in the early stage. Without marketing, the start-up could have groundbreaking innovative products and services, but it will be difficult to reach the target audience.
For addressing these issues, ASSOCHAM announces a roundtable discussion which will provide an important platform for a meaningful discussion on various topics to encourage and for the growth of start-up.
The Discussions will take place on the following dates:
- 17 July, 2021 (Registration Link)
- 28 July, 2021 (Registration Link)
