Midrange FPGAs Optimized for Performance with Lower Power and Smaller Form Factors
The goal: To expand the industry-leading Intel Agilex FPGA architecture into additional markets—where power efficiency (performance per watt) and small package size are just as important as raw performance.
The result: Intel Agilex 5 FPGAs. Agilex 5 FPGAs include D-Series and E-Series (formerly code named as Sundance Mesa) devices, and incorporate many new features such as:
- Upgraded hard processor systems (HPS)
- Enhanced DSPs with AI Tensor Blocks
- MIPI I/O support
- Hardened Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) controllers
These features make Intel Agilex 5 devices ideal for midrange FPGA applications requiring performance, lower power, and smaller form factors.
