The All-In-One Soldering Station for Every Soldering Task and Challenge 

Answering all application needs from Pico, Micro, Heavy Duty Soldering and Tweezers Soldering from component size 0402 to 1612 and beyond  Easily extendable to a full rework station with the WXair Rework Module. The station has 300 W, 2 soldering channels, 1 air and 1 vacuum channel.  In total 16 tools are connectable to the WXsmart. No additional station is needed.

Tracing the hand soldering process with the WXsmart platform provides complete transparency, full process documentation and high process control. This greatly reduces failure in the soldering production, providing a higher quality of end-result products and output.  By leveraging existing IoT standards, Weller delivers data that is available in different formats and can be easily integrated into your ERP system. Data transfer of the manual hand soldering in real-time. 

Weller offers three ef client ways to easily transfer and store data: 

1. Directly from the station: Direct Connection to the MES System, collecting the data directly via broker systems.  
2. Weller Windows Application App: Offers the possibility to store continuous data to a CSV  le. 
3. USB storage device: These  les can also be imported to a SQL Database 

> TOTAL PROCESS CONTROL WITH NEW USER MANAGEMENT INCLUDING  PASSWORD PROTECTION (PIN) 

WXsmart gives the administrator total process control of an individual operator‘s account  with password protection, so operations are secured against unauthorized access.  User management controls provide restricted access and control to various parameters  (temperature lock, tool lock and tip lock (smart tips only) and others), providing the  operator with total control from tip to station, resulting in an increase of quality within  the soldering process.

The first hand soldering station with built-in protection against Cyber Attacks.  Weller delivers a high level of security by using TLS encryption and two-factor authentication (2FA), including Weller’s built-in certificate upload mechanism that provides the soldering station with a customer verification-Certificate, and protected software updates – all part of the cyber security system of the WXsmart.

The WXsmart is a centralized benchtop control unit that acts as the brain of the workbench, controlling multiple devices simultaneously. WXair Rework Module,  Fume Extraction Units and Automatic Valve, Auto-Calibration Unit and Pre-Heating Plates all can be easily controlled from the WXsmart, with every tool aligned with each other. Controlling the workbench from one station saves time, space and money, with the ability for more than 20 devices and tools to be connected to just 1 station.

The large patented, color  glass 4.3-inch TFT touchscreen is the only screen in the hand soldering market that  is truly ESD-safe and heat resistant. The screen is optimized for navigation with  ESD safe gloves, and hot soldering irons will not damage the touchscreen. Colors and  clear parameter setting designs are visible from every angle.
