Eatron Technologies, in collaboration with Syntiant, has introduced the AI-powered Battery Management System on Chip (AI-BMS-on-chip). This solution combines Eatron’s Intelligent Software Layer with Syntiant’s NDP120 Neural Decision Processor, improving battery performance, safety, and longevity.

The company claims the system unlocks up to 10% more battery capacity and extends battery life by up to 25%. With pre-trained AI models, it provides state-of-health, state-of-charge, and remaining useful life assessments with accuracy from the start. Companies manufacturing electric vehicles, drones, robots, portable electronics, and other battery-powered devices can benefit from this solution.

The key benefits of our Battery Management System on Chip include performance through state-of-charge and health estimations that maximize battery capacity. It also improves safety by using predictive diagnostics to detect potential issues early, preventing failures and ensuring operation. Additionally, it increases battery longevity by managing battery health and usage.

A key feature of the AI-BMS-on-chip is its ability to perform real-time analysis and decision-making directly on the device. Using Syntiant’s NDP120’s processing power, the solution operates on the edge, eliminating the need for complex cloud infrastructure. This reduces latency, power consumption, and overall system costs.
